Do something special this weekend
No matter how you are feeling I am officially making this the “Widow’s Quest, I am special” weekend!
We have suffered real pain, real sorrow so let’s do one of the following we deserve it
- Pamper yourself - maybe a haircut, manicure, shopping trip or even a hot candle lit bath with candles! Whatever, works for you.
- Hold an impromptu barbecue and invite your close friends
- Go out for dinner
- Visit someone who you haven’t seen for ages, or a family member you don’t see that often.
- Write a letter to yourself saying how special you are!
- Write a list of everything you have achieved or got through since your grief
I don’t mind what it is - just give yourself a little present, a gift to say well done on being you.
