Defining Grief
I was looking on Wikipedia about grief and found some great resources. One of the resources is called Grief’s Journey which has a wonderful quote on its front page
“Grief is a journey, often perilous and without clear direction, that must be taken. The experience of grieving cannot be
ordered or categorized, hurried or controlled, pushed aside or ignored indefinitely. It is inevitable as breathing, as change, as love. It may be postponed, but it will not be denied.”
~ Molly Fumia
I was thinking how “lucky” we are these days, there are so many great on line resources to help us through our bereavement. In the past we would have relied on family and friends which are wonderful support, but on line we can extend our knowledge and increase our understanding of our feelings.
