Carnival of Positive Thinking
We all need some help in overcoming our negative thoughts and grief so each week I put together articles people send on positive thinking. The more we read, the more we understand…the more we understand the more we will hopefully grow
CG Walters presents Walking on Water: Unlearning our limitations posted at Into the Mist, saying, “Sometimes the correction for a situation is not to do something more, but primarily to stop what we have being doing; rather than learning something new, relinquish limiting information that you have acquired along the way.”
GP presents Street Talk posted at Innstyle Montana- Come on Inn, saying, “straight talk to get your week started”
jaffar abhamid presents Positive thinking part 1: Focusing what is right posted at Profit from turning problems into innovations, saying, “It Is the first part of a 5-part series of positive thinking article. It is brought to you by Profit from turning problems into innovations blog. Please enjoy reading it. This part is about focusing on what’s right.”
Ellen Landauer presents Natural Alternative Health CoachingHealth Freedom Coaching: dandelion recipes posted at Health Freedom Coaching, saying, “Getting out in the sun and gathering your own awesomely nutritious wild greens is good for the soul (and ultimately, your body). Dandelions are still in season if you know where to find them. In this article I so enjoyed writing, some personal dandelion lore, unique recipes for dandelion greens and hints on where you can still find succulent leaves. As well, storage suggestions and ‘dandelion detox’ procedure to rinse away environmental toxins.”
Chris Edgar presents How Our “Enmeshments” Hold Us Back posted at Purpose Power Coaching, saying, “Many of us–consciously or otherwise–are influenced by a desire to please and avoid antagonizing people who no longer have authority over us, such as perhaps our parents or teachers. Psychologists say we’re “enmeshed” with someone when we see making sure we please them as more important than our own goals and wellbeing. As I describe in this article, I’ve found that just keeping ourselves aware of who we’re trying to please by holding ourselves back in life does much to free us from our enmeshments.”
Anand presents Cognitive Distortions posted at Anand Dhillon . com, saying, “This article details several common distortions in our thinking patterns that lead to stress, anxiety and limitations. THe article also explains how to correct these cognitive distortions to live a happier, more productive life.”
Avani presents Top 10 Demotivators posted at Avani-Mehta.
David B. Bohl presents From Greedy to Grateful - Appreciating What You Have posted at Slow Down Fast Today!, saying, “We seem to quickly jump from one accomplishment to the next, from receiving good things that we enjoy only briefly to quickly pursuing the next good thing we want. We’re a pretty needy and wanting bunch of beings.”
Sam presents Building Self Esteem. Skills for Self Improvement and Self Help ! Surfer Sam posted at Surfer Sam and Friends, saying, “Do you truly know yourself? Do you like the person you see? Would you like to become a better person? Self-esteem is the value you place on yourself. It is your sense of personal worth, along with your confidence and your respect for yourself.”
Alvaro Fernandez presents PBS: Secret Life of the Brain and Neuroplasticity posted at SharpBrains: Your Window into the Brain Fitness Revolution, saying, “A couple great PBS shows”
